The M-PULSE Inventory is a pre-offer selection tool that is quickly being adopted by police departments across the country. The tool effectively screens law enforcement candidates, and helps predicts the candidates' likelihood of committing those misconducts which are of greatest concern to a police chief of sheriff.

In a recent study published by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST), the M-PULSE Inventory out-predicted the MMPI-2 in 14 out 16 outcomes. In the two cases where the MMPI-2 outperformed the M-PULSE Inventory, further analyses demonstrated the these outcomes occurred by chance and that M-PULSE Inventory is in fact a more consistantly accurate predictor.
